India Post has issued two postage stamps INR 5.00 each and a Miniature sheet INR 10.00 on 7th May to commemorate 150th Birth Anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore. On the miniature sheet Tagore’s famous poem “ where the mind is without fear” is printed on the right side in poet’s own handwriting.
Remark:I have received two FDC, one by registered post and other one by speed post from Debasish posted on the issue date.This FDC is one of the best design by India-post in my view in 2011.Both the stamps are also excellent.After long time India post has issued such a wonderful FDC & stamps.I like the 1st stamps with great yellow and brown colour making the stamp a exclusive look.
