Pigeons and doves constitute the bird family Columbidae within the order Columbiformes, which include some 300 species of near passerines. True sparrows, the Old World sparrows in the family Passeridae, are small passerine birds. As eight or more species nest in or near buildings, and the House Sparrow and Eurasian Tree Sparrow in particular inhabit cities in large numbers, sparrows may be the most familiar of all wild birds
Generally, sparrows tend to be small, plump brown-grey birds with short tails and stubby, powerful beaks. The differences between sparrow species can be subtle. A few species scavenge for food around cities and, like gulls or pigeons, will happily eat virtually anything in small quantities. Remark:After a long time India post has come up with such beautiful FDC and the miniature sheet.Thanks to my friend from Cuttack who posted this FDC by speed post on the issue date.I think till date in this year, this one is the most beautiful Miniature sheet by India post.Hope most of my FDC exchange friends will like this.
But the M/s such in size you can not use on the FDC.India post should plan in a such a way that at least the M/s should have in correct size compere to the FDC.Either the FDC should be big or the M/s should be small or else what is the use of this M/s if you can not use as postage on FDC.
