P Jeevanandham (1907–1963) (Tamil : ப. ஜீவானந்தம்), also called Jeeva, was a social reformer, political leader, litterateur and one of the pioneers of the communist and socialist movements in the state of Tamilnadu, India.Since he is another Icon of dominant 'Pillai' community,he opposed his own community in Boothapandi and support the welfare of SC/ST Communities.

He was not only a socio-political leader, but was also a cultural theoretician, an excellent orator, journalist and critic ; and above all, a relentless fighter for the deprived. A down-to-earth person with a clean record in public life, Jeevanandham was held in high esteem by ordinary people.

Remark:Once again another personality stamps from India-post.Thanks to Deepanker for posting this FDC to  me by Registered and speed post on the issue date.India post next issue is also a Personalty stamp.We do not know how many personality stamps will be issued by India post this year.
Interestingly now the brochure of the stamps has changed to a single page information without any image of stamps or topic.India post want to save lot of money by doing so.It is a matter of regret that till date they do not want to learn from others.If India post decided to go for single page information brochure instead of the two fold brochure than we should learn from GB brochure and how beautiful they were design the single page broucher with image.Let my philatelist friends decide if I am wrong or right.Thanks
