Details:A special stamp sheetlet was issued on 8 May 2010 (Saturday) to commemorate Hongkong Post’s participation in London 2010 International Philatelic Exhibition held at the Business Design Centre in London, United Kingdom, from 8 to 15 May 2010. The stamp sheetlet is printed in red, white and blue - the colours of the Union Flag. The silhouettes of landmarks in Hong Kong and London symbolise harmonious ties between the two cities.
Under the patronage of Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP), the 8-day Exhibition showcases exquisite exhibits from collectors as well as stamp dealers, auctioneers and postal administrations worldwide. Hongkong Post’s participation in this international philatelic event offers an excellent opportunity to present quality Hong Kong stamps overseas.
